Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York in the U.S.A. was an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable character. Linney was raised in theater-related families, her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. Her graduation in 1986 was from Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first destination in the year 1990. In 1990, she began with her Broadway career. Her work was highly acclaimed for her roles in Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
