Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. A half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish-English descendance. Her mother comes from Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is in each parent's previous marriages. Family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. When she was 16, she quit school to pursue a profession acting full-time. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy had a dream to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
