Dolly-Parton

born on January. 19th, 1946, in Locust Ridge Tenn into a low-income family that would ultimately comprise 12 kids Dolly Parton learned early to overcome the challenges of her living through her vibrant and broad imagination. She was writing songs before she could write or read. When she was 8years old, she purchased the first electric guitar she owned and began singing on a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. She recorded her first album within the same calendar year Gold Band Records, a tiny independent label. While she was at school, she already established herself on the local scene. Her goal was to to perform at a much bigger size. When she graduated from high school in 1964 she moved immediately to Nashville. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were her two first charting albums on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated show on TV at the time was searching for a female singer for his program. Parton was a part of the Grand Ole Opry 1969 after contracting to RCA Records. The year 1974 was the first that she decided to leave Wagoner's band because the popularity of her solo albums like Joshua Coat, Many Colors, and Jolene had outstripped their collaborative efforts. The two split in 1974, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and it debuted at Number. The first time in 1974.
