Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The majority of her childhood was located living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. She was raised by a mom who loved watching movies. Paula was a participant in co-curricular classes at her school and loved drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor alongside her peers and was a participant in school's stage shows. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actor decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She was a student at in the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by it. The program gave her a three month task to produce documentary films for PBS. When she was successful in completing the task, she began becoming an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Then, she switched to produce documentaries. The work was enjoyable but was determined to become an actor. She started her acting career through a tiny role in the film romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. She has appeared since in numerous films as well as TV shows.
