Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actress and film actor. She was born on January 31, 1937 until January 19 2008. [1] Pleshette began her professional career in the theater and started appearing in films in the late 1950s. Later, she was featured in films of note such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Later, she appeared in numerous television shows and was often a guest actor. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 through 1978 and received a number of Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City, on January 31 of 1937. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer, who appeared on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager in both the Paramount Theater and Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
